Sometimes it actually works out
One of my cousins got pregnant when she was 16. Her and the father got married. Since then she had two more kids. Her and her husband just celebrated 10 years of marriage. They bought a new home last month. And my cousin is an RN. So sometimes things can work out well even when someone gets pregnant at a young age.

That is wonderful that things worked out for them. Some people are just meant to be together and happy. There is so much negativity out there in the world that its good to hear of some positive news. That is awesome that things worked out for them.

I think teen parent take far too bad of a rap. My wife was 18 when she concieved our child. Although it may have been nicer to wait a little longer it is still far more better than people who put off having children so long they can't possibly be productive parents to their children.

Well personally OI would not promote teen pregnancies, but I would agree that if you leave it too long, you might be to old to do all the active stuff you would want to do with your kids. Basically you wan't be able to keep up with them.

I became a mom at about 30, that child has me tired all the time. My objective was to finish my degrees get a house and motor vehicle before I started having kids but I guess I waited too long.

I'm glad to hear of more success stories of young marrieds; there are couples all around that got started early and are glad they did. My husband and I were married thirty six years ago after knowing each other about six months. We just knew that we loved each other and needed to be together. We married amid parental disapproval and our friends started up a pool to see how many months we could last. All these many years later, we are still in love; we also have two children and five grandchildren and an incredibly happy life.

I'm glad to hear about your cousin! I myself got pregnant at a very young age, 16 to be exact. The father and I broke up and I had to raise my child on my own.

I now have 2 kids (at 23 years old), & am currently pregnant with my 3rd. The father of my second child (who is also the father of the one inside my tummy right now) and I are still together and settled in our own home.

It does show that we shouldn't always frown upon young relationships. I think that even young people can have good morals and know what love is. It seems that we are just as likely to split up with partners when we are old than when we are young.
