You can join organizations like the PTA. You can even get your kids involved with play dates, after school activities, sports, toddler groups, and lots of other things that not only your child will enjoy but you will have adults to talk with.

I worked form home before I had the children so I was used to it. I go out each day and have made friends with local people that I see along the way and at the shops I regularly visit. i also communicate with people online. I chat to my husband in the evenings, talk to my Mother on the phone each day and chat to my sister online most days. I find that is enough for me.

It's always nice to be in an area where you can go out and meet others in the neighborhood like this. I really want to get out and about more this summer and really get to know who my neighbors are.
