What is single father? this question seems interesting and may require abit research
OK here we go
Single means Only one and Father means the parents male part. For further classifications, parents defined as "a mother" and "a father" overall.

Now the term Single father may refer to as a father have kids but don't live with their mother "or" father is only one who has full custody of their children apart from the matter where mother is living with them or not.

Or maybe it is the case when father is responsible of all the concerned matters of that house including judgment, financial safety, health issues, kids education etc. and mother will take care the house holds.


but this term still confuses me although I'm turning into fatherhood soon

That's quite funny, I remember a Jerry Seinfelt comedy thing. He was saying that he is a single guy and no other guys ara attached to him.... same kind of thing.

Yeah and it becomes more funnier when it combines with single child situation, both single father and single child makes an ideal combination but may create problems with single mom guys

Oh man I'm sorry I even stumbled in here...

A single father is simply a male parent who has sole custody of their child(ren). Traditionally, the stereotype is that mothers are the ones who bear the burden of sole parentship. Reality dictates that they are not the only ones. Sometimes tragedy such as death, or an unfit mother, forces the father to be the one to raise their child.
