Cravings
When I was pregnant I craved ice lollies but nothing unusual. Has anyone else had any unusual cravings during pregnancy?

I know when my mum was pregnant she chewed on ice for days and days and she couldn't get off it. My dad thought that her teeth might fall out because she wasn't sucking on it but actually bitting into it!

I chewed ice too. It is caused by an iron deficiency.

With my oldest I wanted MEAT! Very rare, very bloody MEAT! With my youngest I wanted very sweet things and very sour things.

I think any woman who has gone through pregnancy will agree. No amount of food makes it better.

I am with you there swift mom I think every piece of food that past my lips into my stomach re-ventured past them on the way out. I could only manage ice lollies for months.

Actually I did not have any crazy cravings. I wanted hamburgers several times and I'm not a big hamburger person.
