Well I was a vegetarian when I was pregnant and I cravd fish. I ate some and really enjoyed it. I then bought some more and put it in the freezer. Every time I saw it there the thought of it made me want to be sick for the rest of the pregnancy!

I guess your body wanted to get more iron, but did you usually like the meat rare like that, or was that taste acquired with the pregnancy?

As for food, I've craved for potatoes, chocolates and ice cream but I've always liked these foods so I don't know if the cravings were triggered because of the pregnancy.

Now, however, I am on my third pregnancy (this is going to be my third child) and I am having these absolutely weird cravings for the smell of gasoline, smoke, and paint. It is very weird, and at first never did I think that my pregnancy was related to these weird cravings, but I only found out that it was because I accidentally read about it somewhere online. I was absolutely shocked, but at the same time relieved, that I wasn't turning into an addict after all.
