When you talk about being able to stand the smell of liquor, I still get a bit queasy.
When I was pregnant for the first time, I drank some beer. Nearly immediately, I got the worst migraine, and became violently nauseated. I still can't stand the smell or taste of beer from that day to this. ick!!

When I was pregnant, I couldn't stand the smell of an open beer anywhere in the house, and going out to eat was out of the question if the restaurant served alcohol.

Just the smell made me want to hurl!

LOL

Either way I do know that the effects of alcohol over a long period of time can effect your body so I just would not want to take the chance of effecting a pregnancy.
