I've worked from home for the past two years, and don't ever want to go back to having a "day job". The Internet is a resource like no other, and if you're diligent in your search, you should be able to find exactly what you're looking for.

HTH,
Sam

I want to work from home, because it is important for me to be here for my kids, I don't want to waste my time on a scam and there are a lot of scams out there.

there are plenty of legit work at home jobs, it just takes lots of research into the companies. I wouldn't take any work at home job without checking every little detail and fact with it.

the BBB is a good place to start.

Its really hard to find a real opportunity on the internet, especially nowadays. There are a lot of scammers around and some requesting money before yo can join them. Lets all be careful when looking for work online.

I've been working home based now for almost two years. I do transcription and administrative work for someone. It's tough finding a legitimate job online, great patience is needed as it takes time to find one. Also it's not for everyone!

Many of these sites are scams but you have to look through them. I have bought a few ebooks on how to get started with an online business and I am in the process of doing something.

This is true... but there are ways to tell which are scams in many cases, too. That sounds like a great ebook and I hope the tips in it give you much success!

One way to point out a scam is if they ask YOU for money to hire you, by the way.

I too have heard good things about the wahm site. I have looked at it briefly but not really used it. Another way to work from home is to have a talk to your boss and see if they would agree with you doing work from home. This will work well if you have an 'office' job which just require you to have a computer, phone and internet.

I too dream about working from home and hope I will be able to do so within the next year. I am a child care professional and hope to start with watching kids from my home and eventually build my own centre.

I think that some of the work at home forums can be of help. I would never pay to belong to one though.
