Has Your Kid Met the Library?

Our local library has a wonderful children's section. On top of all the bookcases are huge stuffed animals (I like the ostrich in the top hat, myself) that sets the tone as a fun place right off. There's a play area in the middle of the floor, with blocks and other creative toys. Any little siblings will be entertained while big brother or sister choose their books. There's also story time each week, when the librarians read books to the kids.
If you haven't taken your little one to your library, do it today. Give them a love of books and you've given them something really wonderful, that will enrich their future, as well.

Yes, my boys love the library. Especially in the winter they offer a lot of reading programs and movie nights which they love to do. I love it because it is a place to get some peace and quiet

Mine always loved the library, they are old enough to make their own decisions now but all of them still use the library

We have always loved the library and my daughter always got plenty of books to bring back with her. I've always felt so thrilled that she developed that love for books very young. Fortunately our library does the "fun extras" like storytime, too.

I'm sorry about that, Katharina. In our town, the taxpayers may be stingy about alot of things, but understand the need for a great library, for all ages.
That was one reason we chose where we live right now. The library is right down the street!
