Does kid have to learn everything?
You see I have this contrast opinions with my other half. He thinks that our kids have to pick up every things at a young age. He expects them to go for piano lesson, art class, ballet class, swimming training and even computer class. I am of the opinions that the kids just have too much too absorbed and can make them very stressful. They are simply overwhelmed by knowledge. One of two classes are fine but 5 of them are ridiculous. Now you can understand how busy I am in chauffuering the kids around. Not only the kids get stressed out but me as well.

How old are your kids?
Indeed there are too many activities for them , I wonder when they have time to enjoy their childhood ...
Do they show some talent in those activities at least to make the this effort worth ?
Apart for swimming lessons which I found useful no matter talented or not , for the others I would be reluctant to continue .
I use to take my daughter to ballet classes ,too for a while but only till her instructor said she didn't have a real talent for that .

Having activities are good for kids but too many of them will make them tense and nervous. They should have fun at these functions and too many of them will not be.

I feel that kids should have time for homework, time with their friends and family, and time to just be by themselves. If they have too many activities they won't enjoy any of them.

Everyone, especially busy, active kids, needs time to just breath.

Very silly! Do you know everything? No, I am sure for that. Then why should you impose to our children.

My younger one is 6 years old.Well, she do have some talents in ballet dancing, and playing the piano. She enjoys all the activities even though she seemed quite tired from them. I think that my hub is overloading her with all the activities, and in the long run, might make her very weak and frail. But the ways, she already started to show those signs as I am getting remarks from my friends on how pale she looks.

So what should I do in this case ?

Tense and nervous? She enjoys every moments of it. She can't wait to go for those activities and at times, she would beg me to let her go even she was sick.

Well, she can even complete all her homework even with her tight schedule. The only thing is she looks very pale as a result of it. I guess she feel very tired over them.
