| My advice would be to make sure you set aside time every week just for your spouse. This can be the same night every week, or just a random night as long as it happens every week. Its really easy, especially if one of you stays at home with the kids, to get lost in the daily grind of raising kids. And don't feel resentful towards your spouse if he/she goes off to work & is tired at the end of the day, and you don't get that much of a break from the kids. That leads to another piece of advice, make sure to schedule 'Mommy' or 'Daddy' time every day, even if its only 15 minutes while the kids are taking a nap. |
