my #1 bit of advice is - -

put your marriage above all else. Your children will grow up seeing this example. It's the best thing you can do for yourself and your family.

My advice to new parents is to spend as much time with your kids while they're still young. They're not going to be young forever...

My advice would be to make sure you set aside time every week just for your spouse. This can be the same night every week, or just a random night as long as it happens every week. Its really easy, especially if one of you stays at home with the kids, to get lost in the daily grind of raising kids. And don't feel resentful towards your spouse if he/she goes off to work & is tired at the end of the day, and you don't get that much of a break from the kids. That leads to another piece of advice, make sure to schedule 'Mommy' or 'Daddy' time every day, even if its only 15 minutes while the kids are taking a nap.

My advice is to remember that as long as everything you do for your children is because you love them, then you cannot go wrong. There are so many people ready to criticise parenting techniques and you can be made to feel very guilty as a parent. remember as long as you are doing what you think is the best then it is likely that it is - you know your children better than anyone else.

The best advice I can offer new parents is - always prioritize your child and her needs. She is still at a very delicate state and she needs your attention, time and love to be able to survive in this world. The reward is always great, and it will always be worth it.
