Are you a better parent than yours ?
I think this issue is nice to address. Do you think that you are a better parent for your child, than your parents have been for you? I usually know that much of the persons will say, definitively, i offer to my child much more than my parents ave offered me, but we may also find more sincerely persons who had extraordinary parents and recognize that they are worse parents than they had.

I would have to say that I am no worse and no better than my parents were. I teach my sons exactly what my parents taught me. Maybe somewhat differently but the values are essentially the same.

I am a better parent than my parents. I actually stopped and thought things through before opening my mouth and simply repeating what was thought to be sane a acceptable.

My parents are awesome parents-loving, understanding and giving. I personally strive to be like them. Of course times have changed and some of the rules are different for my kids than they were for me.

I am a much, much better parent to my children than my parents were to me. I know my parents did the best they could, and I also realize that I have access to a lot more parenting resources than they did.

As a child I thought my parents were terrible parents and vowed to never be like them. Now that I am older I realize what a great job they actually did. Unless your parents were abnormally good or bad I don't know if you can definatively say you are better. Some things I do different and many things I have adopted from them. If you strive to be the best parent you can be that is the most you can do.

I wouldn't say I'm the best parent in the world, but I try very hard. I would without a doubt say that I am a better parent then my parents were. I don't think they intended to be bad parents, but they didn't have the skills they needed.

I think yes, everyone gets better day by day and even generation by generation too. we do face the things and try to not repeat the same bad things what our parents did. we do feel our parent's parenting ways and we can filter the things from them. and i think this makes a sense.

I don't want it to sound like I had a terrible upbringing, but I do think that I am and will continue to be a better parent.

I can't say I am a better parent than my own. Actually, I'm using the same techniques my parents used on us but with little differences. I would say my parents have a huge impact on how I'm bringing up my own children.
