| | | Does anyone knows a good book on discipline I was wondreing if anyone knows of a good book on, how to discipline kids.
It´s very difficult to educate children without some help on experts. Can be a book or ebook.
Thanks. |

| | | I haven't read many books, but my wife is great. We decided that I should never spank or use any physical force to discipline our son, only she does because I may unintentionally hurt him, but there's almost no chance of her hurting him. We discipline by revoking privileges and incentivizing positive behavior. It probably won't work for everyone, but it's working very well for us. |

| | | I was hoping someone would ask, as I'm dying to see "Dr Spocks's baby and childcare" ... must be funny combining sci-fi with childcare. |

| | | Yes, there are many books in the market about learning discipline but what i think is we should give our own best. children will learn as their parents will behave. they can see the things, they can feel the things, they can learn the things, only important is how you behave with others. |

| | | I have never read any of these books. I would love to read some just to see what other ideas people have concerning ways to disciplining children. |

| | | I don't think in universal receipts for disciplining kids.
We always should make a difference between an usually naughty child and a one who is normally behaved but at some point was provoked to react by being insolent . |

| | | I use SuperNanny's techniques and they work really well - I often get complimented on how well behaved the children are and I hardly ever have to punish them and have never spanked them. I know that she has written a few books so you shoudl be able to find one if you are interested. |

| Thanks for sharing that with us. I have always heard of the popular "SuperNanny" but I never quite got what they were. I'm glad to find out that they have some books out that I can refer to, if they are so popular then their methods probably work like charms and I would like to give them a try. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
