I can tolerate most things especially when it is not deliberate, but a child kicking the back of my seat would make me furious. I recall one journey when a child of about 11 rolled a table tennis ball over the table in front of her until I was ready to harm her. Why don't parents stop these things?

I didn't travel by air with my children when they were young, I think I would have found it stressful. I try not to be too hard on other passengers, but when they don't seem bothered about the child's behaviour it annoys me.

I had to fly when my son was six months old and I did everything I could think of to keep him occupied. He was really good. The only problem was when he did have a dirty diaper and I took him to go change it someone was not happy about the smell. I do understand that it wasn't pleasant but that is just one aspect you cannot control.
