supernanny
Has anybody seen this show before?

It's a BBC program about the 'supernanny' going to people's houses and helping them with their kids. WOW is all I can say. She is brilliant, turning serious terrors into human beings.

I have seen this show a few times. She is really awesome. Some of those poor parents, they seem so stressed! I have picked up a few good tips from that show.

OMW...I don't have any kids yet, but want to start trying soon. All I can say is - I want her entire collection! That woman is a miracle worker...

I have learned some great tips from this show myself. Now my husband cannot stand it because he thinks she talks down to the parents and it drives him nuts.

I have a friend that I would love to get set up for that show! It is amazing how she can change a household in such a short amount of time. I guess sometimes it takes an outsider to come along and say step back look at it like this, now let's fix it.

I've seen that show and damn that woman is good, my favorite is the 'naughty step', 'naughty circle', etc ... it's surprising how many things you can make naughty.

It sounds like I need to watch this show and pick up a few pointers. Does she "train" the parents as well? I think half the time the root of the problem is with the parents.

She's so calm! I worked as a parent educator and went into homes to work with parents and I wonder if I seemed as calm as she does. It's a very tricky thing to do, try to change people's habits and perspectives.

I've watched this show a couple of times. She must have studied child psychology or something. Her techniques and patience are really great. I recommend this show to parents with problem children.

I've watched it a couple times. My 10 year old likes it more than I do. Most of her 'clients' are parents with total terrors for kids. I remember one episode where a boy was bullying everyone else in the family & he was only like 4 or 5. He was a real terror. I should probably start watching it more often so I can pick up some pointers on how to deal with my 2 year old & 10 year old. My oldest is really starting to push the boundaries & she's trying my patience, which isn't that great to begin with since I'm potty-training my 2yo & breast-feeding my 6mo.
