Yes, being a parent is hard work. It takes all your patience and strength. But no matter how hard things are, at the end of the day when you see your baby sleeping, all the hard work just seems paid off.

OH yeah, being a parent is hard work. But I love my babies & wouldn't trade them for the world. Even on my bad days, or the sleepless night, or the bedtime battle nights.

That's how I reacted at first, as well. Nothing prepared me for the challenges I had to face as a new parent, but eventually I learned how to make things easier for me and found new ways everyday to cope with the trying times.
You should have a talk with your parents if you are unsure about something, ask them how they did it, soon you will learn how to do those things yourself and the fears about doing everything right just eventually fades away in time.
