You are NOT kidding there, justontime! We have an extra room upstairs that my daughter claimed and she got to choose the paint for it. It's such a shockingly bright blue that it hurts my eyes when the light is too bright. Other than that, though, it's a great game room/ library-type area.

that cherub theme again... I collect angels.) :-)
I passed Puff to my brother when it was time for them to decorate their own baby's room. They had three kids, and I'm assuming my sister-in-law still has it. It's a bit aged, so for all I know the sand has fallen off...?

I had a massive battle with my son because he wanted his room to be black like a cave, it was during his Batman phase!

He could have put some of those neon glowing stars on the ceilings! This begs the question... did you give in?! Did he have his cave? I think it sounds kind of cool.

I wanted black walls when I was a teenager, but got yellow. Oh well...
Those glowing moons and stars are so cool in the room of kids of any age. My husband and I had them in our last house. We started at the bottom of the wall with light blue, and graduated upwards to the ceiling which was a violet/dark purple kind of colour. I don't know how my husband worked it out, but he did. All over the ceiling we had the stars and moons, and I even found a package that had Saturns and flying saucers as well.

I remember when I was a teenager I wanted my room to be painted purple, my dad said it would look like a cave because it would be so dark, but I loved it. I was so proud of that room.

Oooh, that sounds *so* nice! Was that a bedroom... or something like a family room? I think I'd like a library room like that... I think we'd all spend a lot of time there.

It was our TV room. I wanted it to be the living room but there were too many windows to deal with...which is not a bad thing!
I tell my mother that all the pink and lavender she did my room in and dressed me in made me a confirmed blue person.

Well then it was a super cool TV room. I'm so anxious to start decorating an extra room we have. Not sure if I'll go with stars but decorating is always fun.
