Parental Filter

Mother, how do you feel after having a baby? Do you feel that you have gone through human life by having them? I personally feel that the pains that I endured during delivering them is worth all the money in this world.

It depends on! What is most important for you? To be mother or to be reknown figure in your society. Like, I wanna contribute something to my country, if I could do so I will think I am complete.

The pain is forgotten so quickly because you have this amazing little person in your arms. I cant say it made me feel complete because I didn't feel incomplete before, but I felt like the richest person in the world to have my little family. Of course the baby is just the beginning, my oldest child will be 20 soon and I still feel that amazing sense of connection with her.

I felt children were a stage in my life, and by no means completed it.

The idea that my didn't have other interests and goals is last thing I would ever want to present to my children.

I can think of a few mothers I know, who would have been better parents if they had the same attitude that you have expressed here.

Having a baby after losing one and then trying again for years felt like a certain kind of "completion" for me, yes. BUT a completion in the desire to be a mother, not in the whole of life. I still had things I needed to do with my life... they all just became much more of a pleasure after that part of my life was in place.

I feel my life became complete when I met and married my husband. The kids were an extra added bonus!
