Music for babies
For a baby optimum brain development ,quality and age appropriate music is the best way to give him a proper start in life. Is is known that Mozart symphonies have a beneficial effects on the development of a better memory and math abilities of a child who is exposed to such a music as early as possible even during pregnancy .What music did or would you give your baby to listen to ?

Actually during my first child my father believed so much in these things that we always had beethoven or something playing in the background, but every time my father wasn't around I'd turn off the music because I felt like it was giving me headaches, seriously.

I do believe that it does help your child's brain to develop and could eventually make your child very smart, but the mother would have to be patient being around that kind of music and hearing it play over and over again because it could get a little tiring after a while.

Classical music is great for babies and children. My dad always put my sister and I to bed while classical music was playing. It's very calming and kids like to listen to music. It's a good way to get them interested in music.

I would go for classical music as well. They sounds so soothing and might put you to sleep after some times. So it is great to be played during their bed time.

On a more serious note, I think classical music can make their minds calm and peaceful. There are even mothers listen to classical music during the pregnancy period thinking that by doing it can make the unborn baby to be more music inclined.
