Baby Shower
What is a baby shower? In the UK we do not normally have them, but I know someone who is expecting, who I have a feeling may decide to throw one. If so what should I expect and what gifts woudl I take (for Mummy and Bump or just for bump?)

My best friend had a baby shower and mainly you can expect games that basically centers around the expecting mom, and food. The gift would have to be for the baby, since that is what the shower is for. To gather items that the baby will need when she / he comes. It's going to be a fun event.

I have never attended a baby shower because in my country there is not such a social event ,unfortunately.
But my cousin would tell me that she did have herself one and have participated in many , and that there is a great time for the future mom. They serve some sandwiches ,snacks and soft drinks and open all the gifts for the mother and the baby .
Usually , there is a list that circulate before the shower with the desired items ,so that the family should not receive the same gifts from everybody .
