Gift For a New Baby
My sister-in-law is pregnant. I have given her all of my children's old clothes, toys, car seats and lots of other things. They have bought everything else that they need. When they baby is born I do not know what to buy as a gift.

She bought for my boys: photo frames, baby lotion, toy, shoes, outfits.

You would definitely have more idea if you knew what the baby's gender was, but anyway, what's popular these days are baby pillow sets and the likes. I remember during my son's christening we received dozens of those. I don't know why they'd think we'd need so many pillows, but as always, it is always the thought that counts.

(By the way, baby clothes are always a great gift to get.)

I think you have to move for a complete cart for the child, including all the accessories like covers and pillow etc so that it may be used for more than a year. I will prefer this one at the moment.

If they have all they need for a newborn baby ,maybe you should buy something that may use later , like toys for toddlers or clothes shoes , a tiny bicycle .
Or ,if you know the parents don't have such an item , a blender to make fresh juice for the baby and for them ,too .

A pre package of baby toiletries would make a wonderful gift for the baby, irregardless of its gender. In our local departmental stores, we have all kind of packages according to prices. It sure takes out the hassle in thinking what to buy as a gift for someone's baby.

Why not get a pre-packaged set of baby toiletries as a baby gift! It is available throughout the years in the departmental stores. It comes in various numbers of packages which includes shampoo, talcums, shower, cotton buds, clothings as well as wipes. A great gift to be given for the baby as you no longer have to think what to get for them.

I have never given any gift to newly born baby. But I have been gifted when I gave birth. I think the best gift is your baby's old cloth, becuase newly born baby needs some soft cloth.
