I loved teddy bears, but as I got a little older I enjoyed playing with my little plastic animals, I had a farm and a zoo and a riding stables, I loved setting them all out.

I always enjoyed craft type toys best. I had a set that enabled you to create designs with shells and beads and cover it in clear resin to make key rings etc. I loved that but I don't think they do that now, maybe health and safety reasons have put a stop to it.

I remember that! I think it was called plastic craft or something like that. I had a candle making set, I really enjoyed using that.

I had a perfume making set with lots of fancy little bottles, I loved it. I bought a very similar set for my niece last year and she loves it too.

No matter what age I was as a child, I never grew out of loving stuffed animals, the more cuddly the better. They all stayed on my bed during the day, and at night I had a very complicated schedule as to which two animals slept with me at night. My favourite stuffed animal was my teddy bear named Elvis.

My daughter was like that when she was younger there was hardly room in the bed for her. Her favourite bear had odd eyes, he was called Isaiah I think that was Grandad's little joke.

We still have boxes of soft toys all packed up very carefully and stored in a cupboard because my almost grown up kids can't bear to part with them!

We have quiet a lot of toys packed away too, lots of Lego and duplo, train sets, a clan of Sylvanian Families creatures and a whole army of Action Men with assorted kit. No wonder we need a bigger house!

We have just a few of the kid's stuffed toys put away for them. My daughter had a lamb called "LambiePie" (our daughter's nickname as a child was Pie) and a Love Notes doll, the kind that play a note of music when you squeeze different parts of the body, her name is "Nelly". Our son adopted a doll from our daughter at some point, a happy-looking doll with a pink body and cap. He kept him for a long time, tried to give him up several times but took him back, until eventually "Charlie" was given up. My son being the father of sons now, I'll probably be keeping Charlie for good.
