I do believe a lot of you parents here might have a router installed, nowadays routers have a new feature called blocking sites by kewords

also you can set Timing settings..and have access rules..like for example..that the internet wont be available after 10 in the night.

these features are really good for filtering and screening your kids from different unwanted sites..

That's a great idea I hadn't ever considered that. There's no reason for the family to use the net after 10 pm unless it's a big deal and you can over ride it.

I use these features too. It's great for parents to make sure their kids aren't on the computer too long. You can also control which sites the kids can visit.

There's a similar feature for television too.
