I agree with the above poster in that I should not as there parent have to allow anyone to see my children if I deem them to be a danger or someone that I feel is not good for them. Even if that someone maybe the grandparents.
Now I understand if the parents are not taking care of the child or there is abuse involved then that is a different set of circumstances. But if for some reason I have a falling out with my parents I believe it is my right as the childs parent to not allow them to see the grandparents.
This is hard for me to even comprehend though because I cannot imagine my children not seeing their grandparents.

Personally, I don't think that grandparents should have special rights. I think that a parent should be in control of who gets to be around their children. If the child has horrible parents, the grandparent should be able to report them, but grandparents shouldn't be able to dictate what goes on in the home.

I think it depends on the people involved. If there is a good relationship between parents and grandparents then all is ok. I think in this case, if something happened to the parents then it would be great for the grandparents to have the right to step in and take care of the children.
