Fifth Deasease/Slap Cheek??
Hiya everyone,
I wonder if anyone knows if this could be Fifths/parvirus??, as a bit odd

I noticved yesterday that my Daughter had red wheels(sp) on the top of both her arms, raised, & stinging & prickly (she says) as if she has been slapped hard with a wet hand, I asked if she'd been hurt at Nursery..No.....

the marks are still there, if not even redder today, so I mentioned it to her Nursery teacher, who said she'd keep an eye on her as they have a few kids off with Slap Cheek Disease, including 2 of her best friends
though she was as puzzled as I was, as its only on the tops of her arms & not on her face.

I checked the NHS site for this, & it also mentions other symptoms, such as sniffles, which she has had for the last week or so, but doesn;t really seem ill, though has been more tired than usual, & it does say the rash can spread to other limbs, but seems to say that it has to show first on the face.

Does anyone know if Slap Check can show up as "Slapped Arm" instead???, has this happened to anyone you know??, not sure wether to keep her home or not??

Thanks in advance
