Vegetables and fruits are enough?
My kids never liked to take vitamins and calcium while younger age, so when I had to give them it made an extremely difficult time for me to make them to accept . At times ,due to lack of time , I would resort to the last (wrong) argument "Yo should take it because I say so ".
Now ,that they are teenagers , they still don't like vitamins and prefer to eat many vegetables and fresh fruits instead .
Do you think that is enough ?

Vegetables and fruits used to be sufficient for our health in the old days but now with pollutions taking place practically everywhere, we have to indeed take vitamins and minerals. They are simply not good enough for our health. If not, why do you think those pharmacy can survive so long? Do you think people just buy vitamins before it is a fads? It is what vitamins do to your health that make this industry a thriving one.

One thing you have to remember is to watch out when your child starts to take vitamins. I was never able to tolerate vitamins, even as a child.

When I take them my heart starts to race and I start to feel anxious. When this first starting happening when I was a child my mother took me to the doctor and he took some tests. He said there was nothing wrong with me per se but I have a slight heart condition. The only thing I have to watch out for is to make sure I don't have anything medically done to me, including having my teeth cleaned, without taking antibiotics.

It's this condition that was causing the vitamins to affect me.

I always ate a lot of fruits and vegetables, even when I was a child.

Just please watch your kids when they start taking vitamins or any other product.
