Why is coca cola a bad drink
It is not a secret anymore that coca-cola is one of the most harmful drinks. Apart from the extremely high acidity , another major reason for which coca is bad is the quantity of sugar , which aside from bringing on diabetes ,will increase body weight .Also, coca-cola also contain ethylene glycol, a slow poison, which it doesn't you if you have it in small quantities but it will kill you in large quantities .
What other reasons do you have against drinking coca -cola ?
Does anybody consider it a good drink however ?

I haven't drunk it for years. I have a sugar and caffeine intolerance so I can only have the sugar and caffeine free varieties that are not always available. I find that the gas makes me feel very bloated, it is too sweet and not very refreshing. I would much rather have a cup of green tea!

I think that too much of anything is not good... but I'm a believer in moderation so I'll have soft drink once in a while, yes... usually diet, which has its own risks.

For the record, sugar does NOT cause diabetes.

I've heard that carbonated beverages in general aren't very good for you, but I can't remember exactly why.

And I think depending on the child, the effects of the sugar on their "energy level" may also make sweet drinks a bad choice.

Hi I know that coke is bad for you, but I am addicted to it and cannot give it up Coke is like my pleasure. I don't eat anything else that is bad so coke is my treat. I don't have the full sugar one but, even still I know it has been proved to be bad to you but, I do love it. I try and not let my daughter drink it unless at parties or if we are going out for a meal. Sometimes she sees me drinking it and I have to give her a little, but as much as I can I avoid giving it to her. I wouldn't want her growing up and rebelling though either. If you restrict everything then you run the chance of your child rebelling at a later stage.

Me, I really don't like soft drinks. I have never like colas. It's funny how so many supposed bad things are stated about this drink that was originally designed to be a medicine; before the actual coke was taken out.

I personally do not drink the beverage myself, I have not tasted coca-cola since my third grade in elementary school. It was something that was taught in my church as unhealthy for our body and so I completely withdrew from drinking it.
My children however drink coca-cola quite often because my mother (who is not in the same religion as I am) usually keeps a bottle in the house. I do not really like watching my kids drink coca-cola but I do not do anything about it really simply because everyone drinks the beverage nowadays and I do not want to deprive them of something that they see everyone is free to have.
