Let's face it, no all medicines taste good. How do you coax your little ones into taking their meds?

I try to make a game out of it. Sometimes I tell him a story about another little boy who is sick and how happy he was when he got all better after taking his medicine.

This works quite a lot and it gives us some more time together too.

Well, fortunately we've never been plagued with having bad tasting medicine for our child. I am aware that not all medicines taste great, but we know that my daughter would never take one that tasted bad, and so during check-ups with our pediatrician, we always ask for medicines with flavor before he writes down a prescription. He is a very friendly pediatrician and is very flexible to different kinds of kids and so he always knows never to recommend us with a bad-tasting medicine.

We have no problems in taking the medicines prescribed with our kid. Most of the times, the medicines taste sweet and believe me or not, she actually love to take them and normally ask for more!
