I must admit myself that I have on occasion frequented a few of the online casinos. You all know how it works - spending credit card money doesn't hurt half as much as having to spend real money. I know how hard it is for me to cntrol it, does anybody have children with online gambling addictions and if so how do you handle it?

I dont know anyone with children with an online gambling addiction. But I could see how it could be easily done. I would think it would seem a lot like playing a video game, so it isnt reality when they are spending it for real. I know when I have gone to Las Vegas and you are playing the slots its very easy to lose yourself and have no concept of time or how much you have spent. I would think it would be doubly hard for a young person who doesnt necessarily have the life experience to make them realize just how addicted they are.

I'd just like to add that there are sites that allow gaming, such as blackjack with no money gambled. So theoretically, someone including a child could develop a taste for the game before actually placing real bets.

Of course it could become a more complicated problem if the person then started to gamble with money.
