Any good gaming sites for a 5 year old?
My son is 5 years old and I was looking for some games that are age appropriate for him. Most gaming sites are skewed much older and the few I've found for children seem to be a little more advnaced than what he is capable of. I would prefer sites that are also educational in nature if you know of any.

I like sites like NickJr and PBS kids. They have some nice games that are fun and educational. My five year enjoys them.

My son loved starfall.com it is a reading site that combines it with games. He is seven now but started on this site when he was five. They have different levels.

Nick and PBS kids is great. Disney.com is good too. My 7 year old loves to go to Lego.com. They have some games, its a neat site.

I understand that there are some good ones at Disney also, I haven't had reason to try them, but I have been told. My friend's son frequents miniclips.com.

I have never tried this one, but Childzilla.com has been recommended to me by other mums. This site apparently let the kids 'earn' points based on chores they do around the house and then they can use the points to play the games on the site.

Now that is one I will have to check out. I have never heard of the Childzilla site. I did let the boys go to the lego site today and they loved it. Thanks for the suggestions.

ColeCash, does your son happen to like Thomas the Tank Engine? Actually, I don't think I ever met a small boy that didn't. It's been a while since I went to the site but my son used to love it. The games were educational ones.
