I agree with this article 100%. Right now my boys seven and five only go on the internet on learning type sites. That being said the computer is in our living room where I can make sure that they stay on the site I have put them on. I cannot see them ever having a computer in their bedroom. Right now even when they are older I am still not sure that I would be comfortable with one in their rooms. There is just so much out there that they can run across and I don't want to be one of those parents that has no idea what it is they are doing on their computers.
